Special nutritional formula in case of accute Diarrhea

GASTRO-FIX® is a special nutritional formula for the management of acute diarrhoea. GASTRO-FIX® is a temporary (5-7 days) formula specifically designed for the recovery (after rehydration in combination with O.R.S.) from severe diarrhoea of infants & young children and to fulfil the nutritional needs during this period.

GASTRO-FIX® main characteristics:

• Adapted carbohydrates content (Lactose free)
• Enriched with electrolytes (Na, K, and Cl & Zn) to correct the losses
• No added Iron to avoid enhancement of diarrhoeal symptoms
• Specific fat and protein content allows an adequate intake of nutrients despite impaired digestion and absorption during an episode of acute diarrhoea

Important notice: Breast milk is the best food for infants. If breastfeeding is not available or not sufficient, an infant formula may be used according to Health professionals' guidance.
